Landis Quality Living executives and community stakeholders gathered in early August 2022 to celebrate the topping out of Landis Place on King. The ceremony included speakers from High Construction, Landis Communities Board of Directors, and the City Vision Campaign, followed by a ceremonial steel beam raising and installation. Landis Place on King is a seven-story mixed-use building that will soon offer 79 downtown apartments for adults ages 55-plus.  Of those units, at least 8 apartments are earmarked as affordable through the fundraising efforts of the City Vision Campaign.  The $28 million-dollar project will also feature a first-floor retail space, and 41 interior parking spaces for its residents. This project joins several recent developments in the City of Lancaster that will add over 1,200 sorely needed housing units into the City. Landis Place on King has an anticipate opening in early 2023.
